Petal Drunk

The daisy drip

Inward haze the thick

Red bound days in blue

Sharpened teeth the scythe

Of Mourning in deep morning

In me in you

A sip of the rose

Outward streams return to the fold

Your dark purple shout the incantation

Bringing rain and the saint

Those lost by their own shoes

Find only the wingless drowned in chalky pools

Nod to the orchid

Her shyness profoundly illuminates

That shadowless malaise

You bark a dank breath

You entangled within her hair

I surround you with one body and stare
